lost of soul or dead man walking

last few weeks i came across one staff which look like dead man walking or i like to say that they had lost their soul.

he still working but looks that their mind is somewhere else. they only carry their body to work place and just do what they suppose to do. sometimes they feel they dont want to do what had been instructed or they will do on their own way.

what make me sad was they have integriti and loyalty but with zero self motivation.
and they just dont know what to do to make they work live again.

how to brings this people back to mainstream?

there was also one which rediscovered their soul and now in process of improving.
what make him live again is the new assignment given to him and he started to give more. now he had been given better assignment.

its looks that self movivation will help.but how?
only the affected will know how and people surround him can only talk o him and give more encouragement.
